Bird of Ill Omen (often referred to as The Bird) was a metalcore band from Florida, USA. The band was only active for a few years in the late 1990s. ==History== Bird of Ill Omen was formed in 1996 by George Rios (drums) and Thomas Rankine (bass guitar). They recruited Joseph Lee Simmons and Damien Moyal. The band went through some line-up changes, including Peter Bartsocas and Andrew Logan on guitars. They did a short tour, and Moyal left the band to pursue musical endeavors in Gainesville (As Friends Rust, Culture). He was quickly replaced by Shane Post. The band recorded their first full-length album in anticipation of a tour planned with Morning Again for summer 1997. The album was the first release by Eulogy Recordings, and the first 12" vinyl to be released on Think Tank Records. The album was not ready in time for the tour, so they printed a few four-song demos in support of their second tour. When they came back, the band changed drummers. Rios being replaced by Jose. The band went back on tour in winter 1997 with new material, but while touring in Canada, Jose was detained by border patrol and stayed in Canada, leading to the tour's cancellation. After coming back, Bird of Ill Omen did nothing for a year, before adding Nahuel Gauna on drums, and asking Post to come back from his residence in Ohio. The band recorded an EP, with the CD again released on Eulogy, and the 7" on One Day Savior. The band broke up soon after to pursue other musical and life endeavors. Rankine and Logan formed Dead Mens' Theory with an occasional participation from Bartsocas. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Bird of Ill Omen」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
